Chinese High-Speed Trains Exceeding 200 km/h Exported to Europe for the First Time

On October 17, during the third “Belt and Road” International Cooperation Summit Forum, CRRC Corporation Limited (601766.SH, stock price 5.56 yuan, market value 159.566 billion yuan) under CRRC Changchun Railway Vehicles Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “CRRC Changchun”) officially signed a business contract for the purchase of high-speed train sets with the Serbian Ministry of Construction, Transport, and Infrastructure. The trains signed for are power-distributed electric multiple units, including 20 vehicles (5 sets) of high-speed train sets, with each set arranged in 4 cars (2 motor cars and 2 trailer cars), and a maximum operating speed of 200 km/h. They are planned to be put into operation in 2025. According to European industry standards, this is also the first export to Europe of Chinese high-speed trains with speeds exceeding 200 km/h.
